About Me

I am a solo practitioner who grew up right here in Clermont, Florida. It is my great pleasure to have a practice in this beautiful and rapidly-expanding community. Incidentally, I maintain a law blog here, which is more informal than this site.

In my high school years, I attended and successfully graduated from Montverde Academy. I then received my A.A. degree from the South Lake campus of Lake-Sumter State College (back when it was Lake-Sumter Community College), before completing my Bachelor’s degree at the Orlando campus of the University of Central Florida.

Following this, I attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida as a recipient of the St. Thomas More Full-Tuition Scholarship. I received my Juris Doctor in May of 2014. Upon successfully passing the Florida Bar Exam that summer, I was sworn in as a member of the Florida Bar in October 2014.

My final semester of law school I was honored to be accepted as a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) with the State Attorney’s Office in the 20th Judicial Circuit. CLI’s are certified by the Florida Supreme Court to represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and otherwise practice law, provided they are under the supervision of a qualified attorney (see Rule 11 of Rules Regulating the Florida Bar).

I am now a general practitioner with a focus on Estate Planning/Probate, Contract Litigation, and Appellate work. However, please do not feel constrained to my practice areas when contacting me; even if I cannot personally handle your problem, I can almost certainly refer you to someone who can. My foremost concern is that you are represented by a competent professional, even if that professional is not me.
